David has his photos professionally done over the weekend and boy is he cute!!! The photographer even thinks so too. And his wife ... I bet David has another girlfriend in their daughter Chloe ... hahahhahaha.

We spent 3 hours with photog Brian Gross and had a blast hanging out with him. He truly loves being a photographer and it's apparent. Here's the link to Brian's blog to see David and even his other girlfriend Kaitlyn who is only a few days from turning 1!!!!

My First Trip ... west...err eastward to Colorado!!!

Packing list written almost a week before we left, packed, fed, bathed and ready to go, we headed to Colorado on Sept 1st for our annual trip. This time it was for a whole week!! David flew on his first plane trip and even got a certificate signed by the pilot to show it was his first flight ... and wings too!! We had lots to do in a weeks time and we had a blast.

Sept 2 we had lunch with my school friend, Brianne and her daughter and nephew to catch up on life. That night we had dinner with Express. Kim and her husband Lou whom we met for the first time (they're expecting a little boy in February), Krista and Geoff (they just got married THIS June), Shalisa and Nate (they're getting married next July), Keri and Mycah. We met up in Littleton and ate at an old standby ... Old Chicago's. It was great to see the girls and I didn't realize how much I miss them.

Sept 3 was Donny's birthday but he and Jamie had big plans to head to the sanddunes in the southwestern corner of the state. So mom and I went and got mani/pedi's since I haven't had one since my mom was in California! But mostly ... a relaxing day. Tonght is a bath night and mom and dad had a great suggestion to use their beverage tub. It worked out great!!! And David liked it.

Sept 4 Mike and I headed to the CU vs. CSU game with Jose ... just like old times. It was a warm day but we got super lucky, our seats were in the corner of the endzone and in the SHADE. It was a great game because we won and even got to run into Shalisa and Nate whom got last minute tickets and even our old pal Jeremy (wouldn't be a CU vs CSU game without seeing Jeremy). David stayed home with my folks whom got to babysit. They put him on his blanket on the floor to watch the game and when he was awake he watched. Otherwise he just napped. Poor Mulligan didn't get much sleep while we were there. Every little noise David made he had to check on. :) After the win over the Rams we met up with my parents and David to eat at ... where else ... Illegal Pete's. It wasn't in Boulder but we still got to have our double-wrapped chicken and steak burrito. Mmmmmmm

Sept 5 started out rough and I missed Shalisa's Pure Barre class that she was teaching and I was supposed to take. But the day moved on and we got ready for Mikey, Rachael, Landon and Andrews appearance. It was so great to see them all and hang out!! Afterall, it'd been two years!! Tonight was bath night too ... in the beverage tub David goes for his bath.

Sept 6 we went to Denver for David's first Rockies game. Which they beat the Reds!!! It was a great experience and the Wellsfargo club worked out great for us. It was a great day with a breeze which made us a bit cold in the shade but it all worked out. Then on to Merle's to complete the family day.

Sept 7 I got to take a Pure Barre class with Shalisa, meet the creator, the director of teacher training and the director of operations. Now to see if I really think I can and should seriously consider a franchise in the East Bay. :) Christy and Benjamin came to visit with us later in the afternoon and then we had dinner with the family again. Had to pack up to go home the next day.
Sept 8 we flew home to Dublin and yet again another flight that David was terrific. We sat around people all whom were grandparents and just loved David. Even one woman got up to look at him as Mike walked down the aisle with him. Even at the airport at Oakland people were walking up just to see David!!!

It was amazing that we were there for so many days, did so many things and it all still flew by SO fast. We can't wait to go back to Colorado again ... maybe Christmas time!!!
