Caleb's initial verbal explosion is upon us and it's so much fun to bear witness to!! Little by little he's attempting more words and even if it's seemingly not even close, he's trying an it's obvious. Last week when we watched our cousin Giada, so Paige could go to a work meeting, Caleb pointed at her excitedly trying to say something. I told him that Giada was a 'baby' and the whole rest of the day he would say 'BAYBEE' in a totally exaggerated tone. He knows where his eyes, nose, chin, cheeks, ears, feet, hands, and hair are and can voice all of them. Oh and even his bottom. LOL ... but he can't seem to figure out where his tummy is nor how to say it.
Today after swimming, he told me 'wan to go hooooomm'. I couldn't stop laughing. He wanted to go home! He's been saying 'let's go' for a really long time. He of course says 'daya' for David but doesn't say Caleb or anything for himself yet. Of course he says 'dada' but is only just really starting to say 'mama'. Which of course I love. <3 em="">3>
He'll be 18months old later this month which means even more language skills ... I personally can't wait!! So far for both David and Caleb ... this has been my favorite part of he experience ... seeing their language develop.
